Northcote Pottery Stoneware Clay becomes vitreous with higher firing and is therefore suitable for functional ware. Bisque fire at 1000 degrees. While it bisque fires at the same temperature as earthenware it must be glass fired at higher temperatures using stoneware glazes.
To avoid drying out, keep unused clay in an airtight container.
